Visit three of England's most famous attractions on a day trip to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath, where you'll take a special tour of the Roman Baths by torchlight. You'll gain valuable insights into England's rich history and culture, from the Druids of Stonehenge to the Roman era at Bath and royal history at Windsor.
Windsor Castle After an early start, you'll be among the first to enter Windsor Castle, where more than 900 years of royal history await. Points of interest include the splendor of St. George's Chapel and the State Apartments. After your visit to Windsor, you'll take a drive through Runnymede, where King John signed the Magna Carta.
Stonehenge The most famous prehistoric monument in the world, and now a World Heritage Site, Stonehenge dates back nearly 5,000 years and has long been a site of spiritual worship. Shrouded in mystery, the site has inspired a great deal of public debate over the centuries and remains a remarkable feat of ancient engineering and design.
Bath Following a guided tour of the beautiful Georgian city of Bath, you will have plenty of time to visit Bath Abbey and Pulteney Bridge overlooking the River Avon. You can shop, explore or take afternoon tea in the Pump Rooms while listening to the string quartet. As the sun sets, you'll take an atmospheric torch-lit tour of the magnificent Roman Baths. After a welcome greeting from a Roman soldier, you are free to explore the baths on your own, or just soak up the atmosphere as the pockets of mist swirl above the bubbling pool.
Please note: From time to time, State Apartment at Windsor Castle will be closed. Tours will continue to operate and guests are encouraged to enjoy the extensive Castle Precincts, St George's Chapel (except on Sundays) and Queen Mary's Dolls' House.
